Thick fog grounds flights in England

For the third consecutive day, flights at Gatwick Airport in South London have been disrupted due to thick fog. This disruption is for safety reasons.

Today, Sunday, December 29th, is expected to be the busiest day of the post-Christmas holiday at Gatwick Airport with 769 flights. According to the flight information schedule, incoming and outgoing flights are delayed, but no flights have been canceled today.

In the past two days, in addition to Gatwick Airport, flights at Manchester, Glasgow in Scotland, and Cardiff in Wales have also been delayed and several flights have been canceled due to weather conditions and fog.

Weather forecasts indicate that the fog is not as widespread and thick as in the past two days and will lessen in the afternoon. However, even when the fog completely clears, previous delays and cancellations may still cause disruptions.
