Early this morning, the earth shook in Eshqabad, South Khorasan.

Early this morning, Tuesday, September 13th, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 occurred at a depth of 8 kilometers near Eshqabad in South Khorasan Province.

Mohammad Ali Akhundi, the Director General of Crisis Management for South Khorasan Province, spoke to Iran Press about the details of this news.

This earthquake and its aftershocks occurred in the uninhabited areas of the villages of Pashno, Shirdah, and Kheirabad, which did not suffer significant damage. The larger surrounding villages either felt the intensity of this 5-magnitude earthquake lightly or did not feel it at all.
