Thursday Soured as Tehran Streets Locked in the Absence of Urban Management

Due to the absence of city management, Tehran’s streets were locked on Charshanbe Suri.

World Economy reported that Tehran’s streets and highways have been completely blocked since 3 pm today.

No municipal taxis or online taxis are seen.

Citizens are stuck in long lines hundreds of meters long at public transportation stops to return home from work.

Today, many citizens did not use personal vehicles to avoid traffic, but now they are stuck in public transportation chaos.

In the absence of smart and capable city management, Tehran’s traffic on Charshanbe Suri has become chaotic.

Some private taxis, taking advantage of the situation, are demanding 800,000 tomans for a route that citizens usually pay 50,000 tomans for.
