John Ternus became his successor
On his last day as CEO of Apple, Tim Cook introduced John Ternus as his successor and praised his abilities in developing the company’s products.
Ternus, who was previously Apple’s Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, will now take over the leadership of the company. In recent years, he has overseen hardware engineering and Apple’s product lineup.
In his farewell message to employees, Cook said he is not leaving Apple and is only stepping down from the CEO position. He said about his successor that few people know as much as Ternus about what it takes to create products that change the world.
Cook also emphasized that he will continue his work at Apple in a new role.
