Time of Arrival of the First Shipment of Foreign Cars to the Country
Hojatollah Firouzi, a member of the Parliament’s Industries and Mines Commission, stated that the executive regulations for car imports are likely to be finalized within a month, and the first shipment of foreign cars will enter the country this December.
According to Firouzi, car imports are possible for all individuals and legal entities. It is said that the import duty considered for fully electric and hybrid cars is five percent.
Firouzi mentioned that another segment of the cars to be imported will be related to public transportation, and in the economic products section, cars with low engine capacity and environmental standards will be imported.
