Israel has said that a girl was injured in the missile and drone attacks by Iran on the country.

The Times of Israel now reports, quoting a local hospital, that the girl is undergoing surgery due to severe head injuries.

According to reports, she was injured after shrapnel from an intercepted missile hit her home.

According to the Times of Israel, the girl is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit.

Israel has stated that it intercepted most of the missiles fired by Iran, but a few hit areas, including the Nevatim Airbase in the south of the country, which sustained minor damage.
