Torrential rains in Pakistan leave 36 dead

Pakistani authorities have announced that heavy rainfall in Pakistan has claimed the lives of at least 36 people and injured 50 others. According to the report, houses were destroyed due to the downpour, and landslides, especially in the northwest of the country, have blocked roads.

The crisis management department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province stated that most of the victims, out of the 30 people who have lost their lives due to rain-related incidents in Swat Valley, Khyber district, and other parts of the province bordering Afghanistan since Friday night, were mainly women and children.
