The Tribeca shipping agency and Turkey’s Ministry of Transport announced that the oil tanker encountered a technical failure while passing through the strait in northern Istanbul.

According to Reuters, the oil tanker Cordelia Moon, which was flying the Panama flag and heading to Russia, was stopped near the Yenikoy area, and an assistance ship has been dispatched to the scene.
