Traffic Police Chief: Domestic Cars Cannot Save Passengers’ Lives

The head of the traffic police says domestic cars cannot save the lives of passengers.

Commander Teymouri, the head of the traffic police, stated that a serious and important priority for the traffic police in 2024 is to pursue the reinforcement of the body structure of domestic cars.

It is true that by increasing the fines for dangerous traffic violations and eliminating hazardous spots on roads, we can witness a reduction in accidents, especially fatal ones. However, we must not forget that cars should be able to protect the lives of passengers in accidents.

The car’s body structure should be such that if a human error occurs, it can protect the lives of the driver and passengers and not itself be a cause for fatalities.
