The trial of the suspect in the Melbourne synagogue attack, Younes Ali Younes, denied the charges.

Younes Ali Younes, 20, who is suspected of deliberately setting fire to the Adass Synagogue in Melbourne, Australia, on December 6 last year, appeared in court in this city today, Wednesday, August 27.

He did not plead guilty and did not request bail.

Australian officials say that the country’s security intelligence organization has tracked the financial sources of the masked suspects and has linked this anti-Semitic attack to Iran.

It is said that these suspects set a synagogue in Melbourne on fire.

Yesterday, Anthony Albanese, the Prime Minister of Australia, accused Tehran of being involved in two anti-Semitic attacks in the cities of Sydney and Melbourne and expelled the Iranian ambassador and three Islamic Republic diplomats from Australia.
