Trump: Advanced weapons will be delivered to Ukraine within a few days
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced on Monday, July 14th, the dispatch of new and advanced weapons to Ukraine and warned that if a peace agreement is not reached within 50 days, countries importing goods from Russia will be sanctioned.
Speaking in the Oval Office of the White House alongside NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Trump expressed disappointment with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s performance and said that billions of dollars in weapons will be allocated to Ukraine.
He stated that we will produce advanced weapons to be sent to NATO and emphasized that NATO allies will pay for these weapons.
Among these weapons are Patriot air defense missiles, which Ukraine has long sought to counter Russian air attacks.
In response to a question on this matter, Trump said this package is complete with launch systems.
Part of them will be delivered very soon, within the next few days.
Some countries are replacing their Patriot systems and will provide us with the older models.
