Trump says after dismissing lawsuits, Comey and James are guilty and justice must be served

A U.S. judge dismissed the criminal complaints filed by the Trump administration against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James, stating that the prosecutor who brought these cases was unlawfully appointed.

Judge Cameron Currie stated that Lindsey Halligan, who was chosen by Mr. Trump to pursue these lawsuits against his two political rivals, was not qualified to hold this position.

James Comey and Letitia James have consistently declared their innocence and described these prosecutions as politically motivated.

In response to the federal judge’s decision, the White House stated that the facts regarding the indictments against Comey and James have not changed and this will not be the final word on the matter.

Donald Trump has repeatedly attacked Mr. Comey and Ms. James, claiming they are all extremely guilty and that justice must be served immediately.
