Trump and Xi Jinping had a 90-minute phone conversation

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced on Truth Social that he had a phone conversation with Xi Jinping, the President of China, with the main focus being a new trade agreement between the two countries.

According to Trump, this call lasted about 90 minutes and ended with very positive results for both countries.

Trump also mentioned that the complexities related to Rare Earth products between the two countries have been resolved, and the economic teams of both sides will soon meet to continue negotiations at a location that has not yet been announced.

The President of the United States also announced that the President of China had officially invited him and the First Lady to visit China, and he said that he, in turn, had invited Xi Jinping for a reciprocal visit.

Trump emphasized that this call was solely focused on trade issues and that there was no discussion about topics such as Russia and Ukraine or Iran.
