Trump called for a complete ceasefire in Lebanon

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, emphasized the necessity of reducing tensions in the Middle East and announced that Washington expects a complete ceasefire on all fronts, including between Lebanese militants and Israel.

On Thursday night, Trump wrote in a message on the social network Truth Social that the United States is committed to peace, and we encourage everyone in the Middle East region to adhere to their commitment to advancing our negotiations in the best possible way.

His remarks refer to the negotiation process that Iran and the United States are supposed to follow based on the newly signed memorandum of understanding over the next 60 days.

In this message, the President of the United States also once again mentioned the reduction in oil prices and the growth of stock markets, considering them as positive outcomes of the recent agreement.

Trump’s new message was released just hours after Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, opposed the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon.
