Trump confirms attack on Karaj bridge, urges Iran to make a deal
The U.S. President released a video of the bridge’s destruction, calling on Tehran to come to an agreement
Donald Trump, the U.S. President, confirmed Washington’s role in the attack on the B1 bridge in Karaj and urged Iran to reach an agreement with the U.S. as soon as possible
He shared a video of the moment the bridge collapsed on the social network Truth Social, writing that the largest bridge in Iran is collapsing and will never be usable again, with more to come
Trump warned that Iran should agree before it’s too late, otherwise more attacks will follow
He had previously stated that in the absence of an agreement, infrastructures like bridges would be targeted
The B1 bridge, which had not yet been inaugurated, was considered one of the major infrastructure projects meant to connect the Chalous road to the Tehran-North freeway
