Trump had accepted the Iran deal but resumed attacks

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, claimed in an interview with NBC that Iran had agreed to a deal, which he described as very great for America, before resuming hostilities.

Referring to recent American attacks, Trump said, ‘We bombed them heavily last night. They are wicked and sick people.’

He also claimed that Iran had overlooked everything but resumed attacks after the negotiations ended.

These statements come as officials of the Islamic Republic have accused the United States of violating the memorandum and ceasefire, and in response, they have announced attacks on American bases in the region and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
