Trump is very disappointed with Putin for continuing the Ukraine war

The President of the United States, a day after traveling to Israel and then Egypt to sign the Gaza ceasefire agreement, said he is very disappointed with Vladimir Putin for continuing the war in Ukraine. Donald Trump stated on Tuesday, October 14, in a gathering of reporters at the White House, ‘I am very disappointed because Vladimir and I had a very good relationship, probably still do, but I don’t know why he continues with this war.’

Trump said Putin does not want to simply end the Ukraine war, which began more than three years ago. He added, ‘I think this continuation of the war makes him look very bad. He can end it, and he can end it quickly.’

The President of the United States, praising Ukraine’s defense against Russian attacks, confirmed his meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, at the White House on Friday, October 17, and said the Ukrainian President wants weapons and is willing to have Tomahawk missiles.

Trump recently warned that if Russia continues the war, the United States might send Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. He said Washington would not give these missiles directly to Ukraine but would sell them to NATO so they could reach Ukraine that way. These statements caused a strong reaction from Moscow.
