Trump released Macron’s private message about a big action regarding Iran

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, on Tuesday, January 19, released an image of his private conversation with Emmanuel Macron, in which the French President expressed Paris’s readiness to undertake a significant action regarding Iran with Washington.

Trump released this message minutes after threatening to impose a 200% tariff on French wine and champagne, a threat made if Macron refused to attend the Gaza Peace Council.

In Macron’s private message to Trump, it said: My dear friend, we are exactly on the same page about Syria. We can do great things regarding Iran. I don’t understand what you are doing about Greenland. Let’s try to do great things. I can arrange a G7 meeting in Paris after the Davos summit on Thursday and invite representatives from Ukraine, Russia, Denmark, and Syria on the sidelines. Let’s have dinner together in Paris on Thursday night before you return home.

The release of this message comes at a time when the issue of Iran, Gaza, and the geopolitical developments of the region are at the center of diplomatic consultations between the US and Europe.
