Trump Strait: Trump’s new proposal to rename the Strait of Hormuz

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, proposed on Wednesday, September 1, on Truth Social, to change the name of the Strait of Hormuz to Trump Strait.

Claiming U.S. control over this waterway, he wrote, ‘Now that we have brought it under the control of the United States of America, should we change the name of the Strait of Hormuz to Trump Strait?’

Trump also said that this strait will be more attractive than ever, just like America itself.
