Trump to Netanyahu: I want the war to be over by the time I enter the White House

The Times of Israel reports that Donald Trump, the Republican candidate in the US elections, has told Benjamin Netanyahu that he wants the Gaza war to be over by the time he possibly enters the White House.

According to a former US government official and an Israeli official, this message was first conveyed from Trump to Netanyahu when he hosted the Israeli Prime Minister in Florida in July.

While Trump has publicly told Netanyahu that he wants Israel to win the war quickly, sources from the Times of Israel revealed for the first time the tone and timing of Trump’s message.
