Trump: We need Iran’s nuclear guarantee to end the war
Donald Trump said in an interview with a Kansas City radio station on Friday that this war will end soon. We need a guarantee that Iran will never develop nuclear weapons. The U.S. President, without providing details on how the conflict will end, added that if Iran had nuclear weapons, he would address them as ‘sir,’ but he does not intend to have such an approach. Trump also claimed that the U.S. was not the initiator of the war and that the Islamic Republic has been in conflict and hostility with Washington since 1979. These remarks were made on the eve of the midterm elections on November 3rd. He had previously stated that the U.S. would not attack Iran before the elections.
