Turkey has restricted the export of goods to Israel

The Turkish Ministry of Commerce announced in a statement that it will begin restricting the export of 54 types of goods to Israel starting Tuesday, April 10, due to the continued attacks by Israel on Gaza.

Israel immediately responded by threatening to encourage Israel’s friendly countries, including the United States, to halt investments in Turkey, aiming to worsen Turkey’s current economic situation.

According to the statement from the Turkish Ministry of Commerce, the restrictions on Turkey’s export items to Israel include aluminum profiles and wires, copper wires, paint, steel pipes and fittings, parts for steel bridges, glass, construction machinery, ceramics, aviation gasoline, and jet fuel.

The Turkish Ministry of Commerce added in its statement that these restrictions will continue until Israel implements an immediate ceasefire and allows sufficient and uninterrupted aid to be sent to the Gaza Strip, to show that the government and people of Turkey, as always, stand with Palestine.
