Two Iranian-born women have joined the Swedish government

Romina Pourmokhtari, 26, has been introduced as the Minister of Climate and Environment in Sweden’s new government. She will be the youngest cabinet minister in Sweden’s history. Romina will be one of the five members of the Liberal Party on the 23-member right-wing cabinet of Ulf Kristersson’s government. Parisa Liljestrand, 39, has also been introduced as the Minister of Culture from the Moderate Party.
