UAE: Any agreement with Iran must include compensation and guarantees

The advisor to the President of the UAE emphasized that any political solution with Iran must be accompanied by compensation and guarantees against repeated attacks.

Anwar Gargash, the advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, stated that any political solution regarding Iran’s attacks on Gulf countries must include compensation payments and security guarantees.

He wrote in a message on the social network X that these agreements must cover compensation for damages resulting from targeting vital facilities and civilians, and also include clear guarantees to prevent the recurrence of such attacks.

Since the start of the war, Iran has carried out missile and drone attacks on targets in Gulf countries.

Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates are among the countries that have been targeted by these attacks.

However, these countries have so far refrained from carrying out direct retaliatory attacks against Iran.
