Ukraine’s Attack on North Korean Weapons Depot in Russia

Russian officials reported on Wednesday, October 9 (18th of Mehr in the Persian calendar), that several objects exploded in an area of Bryansk province and declared a state of emergency in the province. Ukraine claims it targeted a weapons depot in this area.

The Ukrainian military announced that it attacked an ammunition depot containing artillery shells and missiles, including weapons delivered from North Korea, as well as guided aerial bombs. Russia and North Korea have denied any weapons transfers between the two countries but have promised to strengthen their military relations.
