The President of Ukraine accepted Putin’s proposal for a temporary ceasefire.

The President of Ukraine, while announcing that Ukrainian forces will continue their activities in Kursk, accepted Putin’s proposal for a temporary ceasefire.

According to a report by Russia Today, Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, wrote in a post on the social network X that our forces will continue their activities in Kursk while maintaining their positions.

He further stated that Ukrainian forces are also advancing in Belgorod and expanding their control.

Zelensky, while accepting Putin’s temporary ceasefire for the occasion of Easter, said that if Russia is willing to engage in a real unconditional ceasefire, Ukraine will act accordingly. Moreover, if a complete ceasefire occurs, Ukraine will propose its extension after April 20th, following Easter.
