The Secretary-General of the United Nations warned that the world is becoming increasingly unsafe day by day.
António Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, warned that the deadly conflicts currently ongoing in various places have caused the world to rapidly move towards even greater insecurity.
Mr. Guterres, on Tuesday, during the opening of the fifty-fifth session of the UN Human Rights Council, pointed out that wars and conflicts in countries and regions such as Congo, Gaza, Myanmar, Ukraine, and Sudan have led the parties involved to turn a blind eye to international laws.
The Secretary-General of the United Nations, in his further remarks, called for greater respect for human rights and the establishment of peace worldwide.
Mr. Guterres then warned that the world is becoming more unsafe day by day. In a speech before the members of the UN Human Rights Council, he stated that our world is undergoing a remarkable change at a staggering pace. The increase in conflicts brings unprecedented suffering, but human rights remain a constant and stable matter.
