Lack of Information on the Status of Hanieh Zain Al-Abedin After Arrest
A source close to Hanieh Zain Al-Abedin’s family has stated that they have no information about the status and whereabouts of this 28-year-old woman after her arrest.
Officers arrested Ms. Zain Al-Abedin on November 17 on Sepah Street in Qom. Later, plainclothes officers went to her parents’ house without a warrant and confiscated her laptop and computer case.
The source says the family was told that the Ministry of Intelligence had arrested her. The eleventh branch of the Qom investigation office also told the family that a case has been filed for Ms. Zain Al-Abedin, but they have never seen her.
The source says that Ms. Zain Al-Abedin had taken a massage course to help her mother, who suffers from MS. The source also said that since her arrest, her mother’s condition has worsened. Ms. Zain Al-Abedin was a painting instructor and also took photography orders.
