The U.S. Treasury has sanctioned another Iranian bank
On Wednesday, the U.S. Department of the Treasury placed another Iranian bank on the blacklist for aiding the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction due to its connection with two other state-owned banks that had previously been sanctioned by the U.S. government.
Washington announced the sanctioning of what has been called a shadow banking network linked to Iran’s military sector.
