The U.S. Vice President warns that further attacks by Iran will be met with a violent response.

J.D. Vance, the U.S. Vice President, warned Iran that any further attacks will be met with violence.

These remarks were made after the U.S. military announced that it had targeted sites in Iran in response to an Iranian attack on a cargo ship.

Mr. Vance wrote on the social network X that Iran has signed a ceasefire agreement and we have adhered to it. If they have disagreements about the implementation of the memorandum, they can contact us, but violence will be met with violence.

He referred to the memorandum ending the war as a document to end nearly four months of conflict between Iran and the U.S.
