Vehicles impounded at Mehrabad Airport due to lack of hijab
The parking officer at Mehrabad Airport says that every night an officer comes and inspects the vehicles. If there is a violator’s car among them, it is immediately chained and the license plate is removed.
The parking officer says that now impounded cars due to hijab issues have also been added. These days, we witness a lot of protests over impoundments due to improper hijab.
Sometimes, women and men who have traveled and returned find that their car has been impounded due to lack of hijab. They come and complain to us here, but it really has nothing to do with us. All of these have judicial orders, and they must follow up to release their vehicle from impoundment.
