The vice president of the Tehran Guilds Chamber announced the prohibition of importing IT goods on the eve of the elections.
Mohammadreza Faraji Tehrani, the vice president of the Tehran Guilds Chamber and the head of the Computer Technicians Union, reported the sudden ban on the entry of IT goods.
He said that some importers sold the relevant goods to government organizations and must fulfill their obligations, but suddenly and for unknown reasons, the import of some IT items has been prohibited. The ban on importing IT goods has caused confusion among the public and increased dissatisfaction among importers in this sensitive period.
We do not know what the purpose of this ban on IT items is, especially during the presidential elections. Consumers in the market are looking to buy the relevant goods, but when they hear from the seller that the goods are not available in the market, they become upset and disappointed.
Five days remain until the presidential election, and it is expected that the fourteenth president will pay close attention to selecting the ministers of industry, mining, trade, and economy. Because although 95% of the relevant managers in these ministries may have had satisfactory performance from the perspective of traders and merchants, it is enough for five percent of these managers to be incompetent in their duties. These individuals can disrupt the ministry system and alone can question the performance of the entire system and other managers.
