UN humanitarian operations in Gaza will be halted within the next 48 hours, according to a warning from the United Nations.

The head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in Gaza issued a warning on Monday that humanitarian operations will be halted within the next 48 hours due to fuel depletion.

According to Thomas White, two main contractors responsible for water supply and distribution in Gaza have ceased their operations on Monday due to fuel depletion, depriving approximately 200,000 people of access to safe drinking water.
