The Washington Post: Air Force One was used as bait; Trump secretly left Ankara
The Washington Post reported that following claims of a potential assassination attempt on Donald Trump by Iran, the US President secretly and securely exited Air Force One in Ankara and headed to Britain on a different plane.
According to this report, Trump left Air Force One through a catering truck and was accompanied by three of his closest and longest-serving aides: Dan Scavino, Natalie Harp, and Walt Nauta.
Trump and his companions were then secretly transferred to a smaller C32A aircraft and flew to Britain.
Meanwhile, senior cabinet officials, journalists, and other staff remained on Air Force One, and according to the Washington Post, the main aircraft acted as a decoy in this operation.
None of the senior US cabinet officials accompanied Trump during his secret departure from Ankara.
