Wearing a headscarf became mandatory in pharmacies

The Food and Drug Organization issued guidelines on the dress code for pharmacy staff, which includes important provisions such as requiring female staff, including technical managers and other employees, to wear a black headscarf. Technical managers must wear a white coat and use identification badges.

Additionally, all non-pharmacist pharmacy staff must wear coats in green or blue. Furthermore, all pharmacies are required to display an attachment of these guidelines for the visibility of pharmacy visitors.

All pharmacy staff are required to adhere to professional behavior, pharmaceutical ethics, and all Islamic and legal norms in all aspects of service delivery in the pharmacy. The pharmacy founder must oversee the adherence to these matters by other pharmacy staff.
