Rouhani’s website states that the reasons for rejecting Rouhani’s qualifications lack documentation.
Hassan Rouhani’s website stated last week that, after more than 40 days and sending four letters from Hassan Rouhani’s side, in response to the rejection of his qualifications in the sixth round of the Assembly of Experts elections, the Guardian Council announced its decision.
Rouhani’s website has continued that due to the lack of documentation in the Guardian Council’s response, Dr. Rouhani has requested in his letters to the council the presentation of documents and reasons for his disqualification and has refrained from general statements.
One of the council’s jurists and also its spokesperson had emphasized that a quicker response should be given to Dr. Rouhani’s letter regarding the declaration of reasons for his disqualification, and the council’s response was received on 15 Esfand after the sending of Dr. Rouhani’s fourth letter and complaint about the lack of response to the previous three letters.
However, the Guardian Council’s response was without providing documents, and Dr. Rouhani in his letter sent yesterday, Monday, 20 Esfand, demanded to receive documented reasons for disqualification.
Dr. Rouhani’s letter to the Guardian Council will be published in the coming days.
