We should vote for Sadeq Zibakalam for physicians

We should vote for doctors, Sadeq Zibakalam says.

Sadeq Zibakalam, a professor of political science at the University of Tehran who has been detained recently, has taken a 5-day leave to focus on his cancer treatment.

Today, I saw Mr. Zibakalam in the courtyard of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Tehran. He had come to pick up some documents and books, and he was holding a CT scan photo.

I asked Mr. Zibakalam if he voted in prison. He said yes, in the first round I voted for Qalibaf because I believed he could stand up to Jalili, not doctors.

But this time, I am voting for doctors.

I asked Mr. Zibakalam if I could quote this conversation. He said, ‘Go ahead, if Jalili wins, we’ll have to search for Ahmadinejad with a lantern.’
