The White House: Iran and U.S. talks to begin Saturday in Pakistan

The White House spokesperson announced that the first round of talks between Iran and the U.S. will be held on the morning of Saturday, April 10th, in Pakistan.

Caroline Leavitt stated that J.D. Vance, the U.S. Vice President, will lead the negotiating team, and figures like Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will also participate in these discussions.

These talks are taking place following a ceasefire agreement between Iran and the U.S., which was mediated by Pakistan.

While Iran has not officially introduced its representatives yet, some reports suggest the possible presence of a senior Iranian official leading the negotiating team.

The White House spokesperson also mentioned that after presenting an initially unacceptable proposal, Iran has now offered a more reasonable proposal to end the war.
