Widespread presence of security forces in Tehran, Karaj, and Saqqez on the anniversary of Mahsa Amini

Simultaneously with the start of the Woman, Life, Freedom movement, reports of a security atmosphere in various parts of Tehran, Karaj, and Mahsa Amini’s hometown, Saqqez, have been released.

Images shared on social media show security forces in some of the main squares of Tehran, including Enghelab and Tajrish Squares.

It has been reported from the Haft-Hoz neighborhood that protesters have held a silent march.

Similar reports have been released from Karaj and Tabriz as well.

In Saqqez, it has been said that permission was not granted for gatherings at the Aichi Cemetery, where Mahsa Amini is buried.
