With the announcement of the parliamentary representatives’ votes, it became clear that all proposed ministers by Masoud Pezeshkian have received a vote of confidence from the parliament.
Mr. Pezeshkian had previously stated that he has not introduced any minister without coordination with the higher-ups and the lower-downs.
The Minister of Defense, Aziz Nasirzadeh, received the highest vote of confidence with 281 votes.
Alireza Kazemi, the Minister of Education, has 208 affirmative votes; Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, has 268 affirmative votes.
Ismaeil Khatib, the Minister of Intelligence, has 261 affirmative votes; Abdolnasser Hemmati, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, has 192 affirmative votes.
Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, has 247 affirmative votes; Mohammad Reza Zafarqandi, the Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, has 163 affirmative votes.
Ahmad Meidari, the Minister of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare, has 191 affirmative votes; Gholamreza Nouri Qezalcheh, the Minister of Agriculture Jihad, has 253 affirmative votes.
Amin Hossein Rahimi, the Minister of Justice, has 268 affirmative votes; Amir Aziz Nasirzadeh, the Minister of Defense Logistics and Armed Forces Support, has 281 affirmative votes.
Farzaneh Sadegh Malvajerd, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, has 231 affirmative votes; Mohammad Eslami, the Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade, has 231 affirmative votes.
Hossein Simaee, the head of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology’s exchange office, received 221 votes in favor. Abbas Salehi, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, received 259 votes in favor.
Mohammad Reza Salehi Amiri, the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism, received 168 votes in favor. Mohsen Paknejad, the Minister of Petroleum, received 222 votes in favor.
Abbas Ali Abbadi, the Minister of Energy, received 255 votes in favor. Ahmad Danialy, the Minister of Sports and Youth, received 253 votes in favor.
