Zarghami: Iran did not target Trump to maintain relations with neighbors

Ezzatollah Zarghami, a member of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace and former Minister of Cultural Heritage, called for the summoning of the Turkish ambassador in Tehran

Zarghami, referring to Donald Trump’s presence in Ankara, wrote that the U.S. President is issuing orders to attack Iran from Turkish soil. He claimed that Trump was within reach for retaliation, but Iran did not target him to maintain friendship and good neighborliness.

Previously, Hamid Rasaei, a conservative member of parliament, also mentioned Trump’s presence at the NATO summit in Ankara, stating that now that Trump is within range, his location should be targeted.

Hours later, the Sabreen News Telegram channel, close to the Iranian government, published a location in Ankara, claiming it to be the hotel and room of Trump’s stay.
