Zeinab Mousavi, the satirist, has been sentenced to 2 years in prison.

Zeinab Mousavi, known as Emperor Kuzco, says she has been sentenced to 2 years in prison in the preliminary court.

She wrote in her Instagram story that she has been in solitary confinement for 25 days and, according to the preliminary court’s verdict, she must go to prison for two years. However, this verdict might change in the appeal court.

Mousavi used to post critical satirical clips in Qomi dialect on her Instagram, which received widespread attention.
