Zelensky: Iranian drones are a serious threat to the world

Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, speaking on the second day of the United Nations General Assembly, said that Ukraine and countries like Saudi Arabia are well aware of how dangerous Iran’s offensive drones are. But what will happen when all types of drones become available even to small terrorist groups or cartels?

Zelensky emphasized that the world is moving too slowly to protect itself. He added that companies are now working on drones that can shoot down other drones, and it’s only a matter of time. It won’t be long before drones fight drones, seize critical infrastructure, and target people completely and autonomously, with no human involvement except for a few individuals controlling the AI systems.

The President of Ukraine said the world is undergoing the most destructive arms race in human history, which includes artificial intelligence. This situation will be very dangerous if there are no security guarantees.
