Zelensky: The situation at the Zaporizhzhia power plant is dangerous

Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, warned on Friday evening that the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant remains very dangerous.

He further emphasized that the International Atomic Energy Agency’s delegation must reach the plant as soon as possible.

Zelensky added that the withdrawal of Russian forces from Zaporizhzhia is crucial to avert the risk of bombing the plant or its power lines.

This news comes as RIA Novosti reported on Friday that four rockets struck the radioisotope area of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant following Ukrainian forces’ shelling.
