We don't have strict plans to review qualifications, says Minister of Interior

The Minister of Interior stated that we do not have strict criteria for evaluating qualifications.

Ahmad Vahidi, the Minister of Interior, spoke about the program of the Ministry of Interior and executive bodies in the current year’s elections, saying that the executive bodies have set certain regulations, but I must say that there will be no strict criteria from the Ministry of Interior and executive bodies for approving qualifications.

Naturally, the compliance with the regulations mentioned in the law and the alignment with the conditions specified in the constitution will be examined for the candidates and volunteers. He added that although the executive bodies have not been formed yet, the issue of participation is one of the most important priorities in our program for the elections.
