The New York Times report on America’s negotiations with Iran

The New York Times newspaper, citing statements from officials of three countries, reported on the secret talks between America and Tehran. Fadahsin Maleki, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, also says that Iran and America are engaged in direct negotiations.

The New York Times newspaper, on Friday, 25th of Khordad, reported, based on the official statements of Iran, Israel, and America (without mentioning their names), that the Biden administration is engaged in secret talks with the Islamic Republic regarding the nuclear program and prisoner exchange.

This report adds that the aforementioned negotiations are part of America’s larger efforts to reduce tensions and prevent the risk of military confrontation with the Islamic Republic.

Informed sources have told this American newspaper that the goal of the US government is to reach an informal and verbal agreement with Iran, a matter that Iranian officials interpret as a political fireball.
