Celebration of Biden and Harris' Election Defeat

Biden and Harris celebrated their electoral defeat with a grand election party

President-elect Biden, Vice President-elect Harris, along with their spouses, attended a grand celebration organized by the National Democratic Committee to commemorate their electoral victory. Joe Biden, who has important international trips ahead, celebrated the achievements of his party’s election campaign with party activists, volunteers, and especially young people.

In his speech, Biden once again emphasized his red lines in dealing with Republicans in the future, and this time he took a more explicit position regarding the possible defeat in the upcoming congressional races. He spoke out against the Republicans’ anti-people policies.

The need for the President to veto congressional resolutions is usually in situations where both the House of Representatives and the Senate have approved a bill and the President is not inclined to endorse it. It is natural for Biden to have the possibility of defeat in both chambers in mind.

Biden and Harris celebrated their electoral defeats at a time when they deserved such joy. This is one of the best performances of a party’s presidential candidate in midterm elections in recent decades. Biden experienced the best possible outcome in these elections, with the number of seats lost by his party in the House of Representatives being much, much lower than the electoral defeats of Trump and Obama during their presidencies.
