The Head of the Construction Workers' Association: Low Wages for Workers in Factories Have Led to a Lack of Willingness to Work

The president of the Construction Workers Association says low wages for workers in factories have led to a lack of interest in working.

Akbar Shokat, the president of the Construction Workers Association, stated that low wages have caused workers to lose interest in working in factories and large industrial environments.

He also mentioned that this issue has led to industrial parks facing a shortage of skilled labor.

According to Mr. Shokat, neither employers are inclined towards engaging in production activities, nor are skilled workers willing to work in factories anymore, and part of the reason for this situation is the government’s wage policies.

The president of the Construction Workers Association also pointed out that some raw materials are produced domestically and stated that these raw materials see price increases two to three times a year, while we are witnessing inflation of over 60 to 70 percent across all goods without any increase in workers’ wages.
