In this regard, although maintaining communication and striving to influence the policies and actions of the Taliban by Iran is necessary, the important point is that being listed among the countries supporting the Taliban poses a threat to Iran’s regional and global prestige and credibility, and it does not have the support of domestic public opinion, especially since this group has fundamental religious and ideological differences with Iranian culture and civilization.
