Three protesting students have been summoned in connection with the poisoning of students.
Reports from Iran indicate that Hasti Amiri Zia and Farshad Tousi, students of Allameh Tabatabai University, have faced charges following complaints by the university’s security and Basij forces.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Organization, their interrogation and charges were communicated to them on Tuesday at Branch 2 of the 33rd District Court in Tehran.
They are reported to be accused of anti-regime propaganda.
According to the channel of the Coordination Council of Iranian Cultural Associations, a case has been opened following the protests of these students against the poisoning of school students and the violent treatment of students by the security forces.
All three individuals have previously faced legal actions and opposition due to their activities and expressing dissenting opinions.
